Gas And Diesel Take Big Price Jumps

The price of gas went up, overnight.

Gas increased by 7.9 cents a litre and now goes for a minimum of $1.67.1 in Cape Breton.

Diesel went up by 15 cents after the Utility and Review Board invoked its interrupter clause to increase the price by 11.8 cents already this week.

The minimum price for a litre of diesel on the Island is now $2.14.8.
