However, the price of gas in New Brunswick went down by 7.8 cents a litre, last night.

Diesel there took a big drop of 12.8 cents.

A litre of gas now goes for a minimum of $1.59.1 in Cape Breton.

The minimum price for a litre of diesel on the Island is $1.90.5 after the Utility and Review Board invoked its interrupter clause to drop the price just after midnight on Saturday.
