The price of gas fell by more than predicted, overnight.
Gas dropped by 4.8 cents a litre and now goes for a minimum of $1.02.8 in Cape Breton.
Diesel went down by 2.3 cents and now costs a minimum of 94.8 cents a litre on the Island.
