Funeral For Sarabeth Forbes Tomorrow

The funeral for the woman found dead in her Gardiner Mines home last week will take place tomorrow.

Regional Police say officers discovered the body of 33 year-old Sarabeth Forbes inside a house at 87 O’Brien Street after they got a 911 call from the home at around noon last Tuesday.

Her common-law partner and father of her nine-year-old son, Devon – has been charged with first-degree murder in her death.

40 year-old Richard Wayne McNeil is due back in court on Wednesday.

The Crown is not disclosing the cause of Forbes’ death.

She worked as a teacher’s aid at Tompkins Elementary in Reserve Mines.

Her funeral will take place at 11:00 tomorrow morning at T.J. Tracey Funeral Home in Glace Bay.
