Fundraising Walk Addressing Homelessness, Hunger to be Held In Sydney

A national fundraising event addressing hunger and homelessness is coming to Sydney for the first time this weekend.

The fundraising walk called “The Coldest Night of the Year” is being led by the charity Souls Harbour Rescue Mission.

Souls Harbour says the walk starts at the Ashby Legion on Saturday.

It says the money raised through the event will help its clients in Sydney as it prepares its new food truck for service.

It says the truck is being used during the renovation of the group’s newly acquired property at 54 Ferry Street in Sydney.

People can register and donate online at cnoy.org.
