Funding Announced For Housing Association

The Cape Breton Community Housing Association is one of seven getting money from the province for emergency shelter for people who are homeless.

The government says the $20,000 each organization is getting will be used to cover the cost of hotel rooms when shelters are at capacity.

All the groups getting the funding operate outside the Halifax Regional Municipality.
