Funding Announced For Groups In North Sydney, Coxheath

The province announced grants today for groups in North Sydney and Coxheath.

The Cape Breton Exhibition Society got funding for roof, ceiling and electrical repairs to its facility in North Sydney.

The society was established in 1916, and promotes agriculture, community activities and cultural events.

Meanwhile, the Coxheath Volunteer Fire Department is getting money to install a heat pump and make enhancements to its building, and Racing Cape Breton, Inc. is getting funding to support the replacement of a tally board at Northside Downs.
