by Cape Breton Liberal MP’s Jaime Battiste and Mike Kelloway announced more than $8 million in federal funding for Transit Cape Breton, this morning.
The money will be spread out over ten years, starting next year.
Ottawa says the money will give the CBRM’s transit service predictable and long-term funding.
It will be used to upgrade, replace, or modernize transit infrastructure, and keep it in a state of good repair.
