Frozen Chicken Products Recalled

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says a brand of frozen uncooked breaded chicken is being recalled because of possible Salmonella contamination.

The effected products are Jane’s Pub Style Chicken Burgers with a best before date of May 12, 2018 and Jane’s Pub Style Snacks Popcorn Chicken with a best before date of May 15, 2018.

They come in 800 gram packages.

The Food Inspection Agency says the recall was triggered by its investigation into a salmonella outbreak that involved two cases in this province.

It says other products may also be recalled.
