Freezing Rain Storm Causes Many Cancellations

Classes at all schools in Cape Breton are cancelled today because of the storm.

The Cape Breton University campus is closed for the day as well as the Marconi Campus of the community college.

Transit Cape Breton is delaying the start of service until road conditions improve.

But the Regional Municipality says garbage collection is still scheduled to go ahead, today.

All provincial government offices are closed today along with City Hall in Sydney.
