Free Naloxone Kits Now Available In Pharmacies

The province says free naloxone kits are now available at pharmacies across the province.

Today’s announcement comes after there was a delay earlier this month in supplying the kits containing the drug to treat opiod overdoses.

The kits are available at more than 240 pharmacies anonymously, and free of charge.

The province says pharmacist will walk people through the contents of the kit, and provide training on how to use naloxone to reverse an overdose.
