Free Mental Health Counselling Sessions

The Office of Addictions and Mental Health says people in the province older than 18 can now book one free counselling session with trained mental health counsellors.

The Office says the new service is available to individuals, couples or families with general mental health concerns, including anxiety, job loss, grief, relationship issues and drug use.

The counselling sessions can be done by phone, online or in person in Sydney, Halifax, Kentville and New Glasgow.

People can book an appointment starting today by calling 1-833-691-2282 seven days a week between 8:00 in the morning and 11:00 at night.

They can also book appointments online by visiting go.lifeworks.com/access-wellness-nova-scotia-en.
