Provincial health authorities are reporting four new cases of COVID-19 today, including one in the Cape Breton Community health network.
The Cape Breton case is related to travel outside of Atlantic Canada, while the other three new cases are in the Central Zone and are close contacts with a previously reported case.
All four people are self-isolating as required.
The new cases bring the number of known, active cases of COVID in Nova Scotia to 39.
One more person is in intensive care with COVID-19.
One thousand six hundred and thirty-eight Nova Scotians have tested positive for COVID-19 since the pandemic began; 65 people have died.
One thousand five hundred and thirty-four people have recovered from COVID-19.
