Four Government Funding Announcements In Regional Municipality, Today

Federal and provincial politicians are making a series of funding announcements in the Regional Municipality, today.

It all starts at 9:30 this morning when Sydney-Victoria Liberal MP Jaime Battiste is scheduled to announce funding for downtown revitalization in front of City Hall in Sydney.

Then at 10:00 this morning, Infrastructure and Housing Minister Geoff MacLellan and Education Minister Derek Mombourquette will announce what the Liberal government describes as a milestone in the Northside Health Complex project.

That announcement is taking place at the Northside Business Park.

At 1:00 this afternoon, MacLellan and Mombourquette will be in New Waterford to make an announcement about the New Waterford Community Hub Project.

And also at 1:00, Jaime Battiste will join Cape Breton Canso MP Mike Kelloway at the Sydney McCurdy Airport to announce money for the airport’s post-COVID-19 recovery.
