Natalie MacMaster and Joella Foulds will be inducted into the Casino Nova Scotia Music Hall of Fame during a ceremony at Centre 200 in Sydney, tonight.
MacMaster began her fiddling career at the ago16 with the release of her debut album “Four on the Floor.”
She’s also a Juno, Grammy and ECMA winner.
Foulds is perhaps best known as the co-founder of the Celtic Colours International Festival.
However, she began her singing career in the1960s when she sang in folk clubs as a student and also served as a backup singer for Rita MacNeil.
Tonight’s Hall of Fame ceremony will include guest performances by Bruce Guthro, Meaghan Blanchard, Jessica Rhaye and Kim Dunn.
Bette MacDonald and Maynard Morrison will host the event.
