Former Regional Councillor Lee McNeil Has Died

Former Regional Councillor Lee McNeil has died at the age of 61.

McNeil was a beloved and active member of the community, who represented the old District 3 for eight years between 2004 and 2012. She would run unsuccessfully for the District 10 seat in a byelection in 2014.

McNeil’s passing has been marked by an outpouring of grief on her Facebook page, as friends pay tribute to her compassion, he ready laugh, and her passion for the Montreal Canadiens.

Funeral arrangements have yet to be announced.
