Former MLA And Municipal Politician Brian Boudreau Dies

Former municipal politician and MLA Brian Boudreau has died at the age of 67.

No cause of death has been given but his obituary says he died suddenly on Tuesday, October 12th.

Boudreau was a municipal councillor in Cape Breton County and later served as deputy mayor in the new Cape Breton Regional Municipality.

He was MLA for Cape Breton The Lakes from 1999 to 2003.

A visitation for Boudreau will take place at Jobes Funeral Home in Sydney Mines from 7:00 to 9:00 tonight.

His funeral is scheduled for 10:30 tomorrow morning at St. Joseph’s Church in Bras d’Or.
