Former CBRM Economic Development Manager John Whalley Has Died

Former CBRM economic development manager John Whalley has died at the age of 62.

Whalley’s obituary says he died very suddenly on Friday.

Whalley sued the Regional Municipality for constructive dismissal in 2018 after resigning from his job in 2015.

He lost the case after the judge ruled Whalley quit of his own accord and wasn’t constructively dismissed.

His most recent position was Vice President of New Dawn Enterprises.
