The province says applications for the second round of the Forestry Innovation Transition Trust will be accepted starting on Sunday and close on November 30th.
The 50-million-dollar fund was announced in February in the wake of the closure of the Northern Pulp Mill in Pictou County.
The government says twenty-two applications sent in in the first round are being reviewed with decisions expected in early December.
The trust is open to companies, organizations or post-secondary institutions working and researching in the forestry and biological resources sectors.
Forestry workers can also tap into the fund for training or retraining.
