Flour Recall Expanded

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has added more flour products to the national recall it issued earlier this month over fears of E. coli contamination.

The expanded recall covers more varieties and sizes of Robin Hood Flour.

An earlier recall involved 10-kilogram bags of Robin Hood all-purpose flour with best-before dates of April 17, 2018.

10 kg bags of Robin Hood all-purpose flour with best before dates of April 28, 2018 have now been added to the list.

Also added to the list are 5 kg bags of Robin Hood all-purpose flour with best before dates from April 25-28, 2018.

1.36 kg bags of Robin Hood Bread and Roll Mix with a best before dates of August 25th and 27th are included, as well as 2.5 kg bags of Robin Hood Best for Blending Flour with various best before dates.

A complete list can be found on the CFIA website.

People who have bags of the flour are being advised to either throw them out or bring them back to the store where they bought them.
