Five New COVID Cases Reported

The province is reporting five new cases of COVID-19 today, along with one probable case.

All of the new cases are in the Central Zone.

Two of the cases are under investigation and the other three are close contacts of previously reported cases.

Health officials say the probable case was found in the Halifax area today at Sackville Heights Junior High School in Lower Sackville.

There’s now a total of 27 confirmed active cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia.

One of those cases is in the Cape Breton County Community Health Network and three are in the Inverness, Victoria and Richmond Community Health Network.

No one in the province is in hospital with COVID-19.
