Provincial health authorities say they’ve identified five new cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia.
Two of the new cases are in the Western Zone, two in the Northern Zone, and one in the Central Zone.
The province says four of the new cases are related to travel outside of the Atlantic bubble, and one is related to a previous case.
The new cases bring the number of known, active cases of the respiratory infection in the province to 11.
1,109 Nova Scotians have tested positive for the novel coronavirus since the pandemic began; 65 people have died.
1,033 people in Nova Scotia have recovered from COVID-19.
