Fisher-Price recalls two models of baby soothers

Fisher-Price is recalling two of its baby soothers after the suffocation deaths of four infants in the U.S. between April of 2019 and February 2020.

The recall applies to the 4-in-1 Rock ‘n Glide Soothers, which are designed to mimic the motion of a baby being rocked in someone’s arms.

The toy company is also recalling the 2-in-1 Soothe N’ Play Glider out of an abundance of caution.

Four infants between the ages of 11 weeks to four months were placed on their backs unrestrained in the devices, and later found on their stomachs.

About 25,000 4-in-1 Rock ‘n Glide Soothers and 27,000 2-in-1 Soothe ‘n Play Gliders were sold in Canada.
