First Cruise Ship of Season Due Today in Sydney

The first cruise ship of the season is due to arrive today in Sydney.

The Veendam is scheduled to dock at 10:00, this morning.

The Port of Sydney says a total 90 cruise ships are expected, this year.

 That translates into 149 thousand passengers and nearly 65-thousand crew members for the entire season.

That’s up from last year’s record season that brought more than118 thousand passengers and nearly 64-thousand crew.

 Two cruise ships are scheduled to be in port on 11 days this year with three ships visiting on three days.

The last cruise ship in Sydney is due on November 5th.
