First Cruise Ship Of Season Due In Sydney, Today

The first cruise ship of the season is due to arrive in Sydney later this morning.

Holland America’s Zaandam is scheduled in port at 10:00.

It has a capacity of 14-hundred passengers and 615 crew.

The Port of Sydney says it’s expecting to welcome more cruise ship passengers than ever, this season.

An estimated 175,000 passengers and 75,000 crew members are due in a total of 114 visits.

102 ships are due at the Port of Sydney while 12 are scheduled for Louisbourg.
