Fifty-five new cases of COVID-19 over the weekend in Nova Scotia; three in CBRM

Nova Scotia reported 55 new cases of COVID-19 over the weekend, including three new cases in the Cape Breton Regional Municipality.

All three of the new cases here are travel-related.

Thirty-four new cases were also reported in the Central Zone, 13 in the northern, and five in the western.

Eighty-eight people have recovered, bringing the number of active cases in the province to 129; four active cases remain in the regional municipality.

Eight Nova Scotians remain in hospital with COVID-19, although none are in intensive care.
