Gale force winds and high seas in the Cabot Strait continue to disrupt ferry service between North Sydney and Newfoundland, this morning.
Marine Atlantic postponed all crossings yesterday as well as this morning’s sailing until just before midnight, tonight.
However, the Crown Corporation says that sailing could also be delayed.
Meanwhile a gale warning for the Cabot Strait remains in effect.
Environment Canada says wind gusts of up to 75 kilometers an hour are not expected to go down until after midnight, tonight.
It adds seas of 3 to 4 metres are expected to build to 5 metres by this evening.
