Feds, Province Announce Money For School Repairs

The provincial and federal governments have set aside about $25 million in funding for repairs and upgrades at Nova Scotia schools.

$20.5 million is coming from Ottawa with $5 million from the province.  

A total of $4.3 million is going to six schools in the Cape Breton-Victoria Regional Centre for Education.

That includes centre-wide upgrades to monitoring and control of HVAC and building automation systems, with other projects at Whitney Pier Elementary, Bras d’Or Elementary, Cusack Elementary and Baddeck Academy.
