The federal government is contributing $200,000 to help with the re-build of the Bernie MacNeil Ball Field in Sydney.
The project is being led by the Sydney Baseball Park Association.
The Regional Municipality has also committed $200,000 to the project, while the province has announced it will provide $150,000.
The Toronto Blue Jays set aside about $150,000 for the project through the Jays Care foundation and the Baseball Park Association has received additional funding through corporate sponsors and donations.
