Police got the call to Mapleview Drive at around 6:30.
They say Fire Services found a dead person inside the home.
The body has been sent to the Medical Examiner’s Office to confirm the identity and cause of death.
The Fire Marshall’s Office and police are investigating the cause of the fire.
Meanwhile, there’s been no update on the investigation into the cause of a fire in Westmount on Sunday morning that left a man in his 70’s dead.
