by A family in Long Point, Inverness County is warning other pet owners in the area after their dog died, following a coyote attack.
They say their 13-year yellow lab was attacked by a coyote next to their home at around 10:00 on Saturday night.
They add the dog died from its injuries, last night.
They say the coyote was heard the night before and didn’t appear to be afraid when they tried to scare it off.
The incident has been reported to the provincial Department of Natural Resources.
