Extensions Announced For Transit Services

Transit Cape Breton says it’s making schedule changes in the New Year to address higher demand for the service.

The changes include extending Saturday Service on Route 1 between Glace Bay and Sydney from 10:00 in the morning to 6:00 in the evening.

The service says those hours are on top of the regularly scheduled Route 1.

Transit Cape Breton will also start providing hourly service throughout the day to New Waterford and there will be four trips daily where Route 9 makes a trip to downtown Sydney.
