Passengers on an Air Canada flight to Sydney last week are being warned of possible exposure to COVID-19.
Public Health says the flight from Toronto landed in Sydney on Thursday at around the noon hour.
The exposure notice affects passengers in rows 12 to 16, seats A, B, C and D.
There’s also a notice for a Westjet flight from Toronto that landed in Halifax last Sunday, December 19th at about 7:20 in the evening.
More information on seats and rows affected on that flight and on instructions for passengers can be found at the provincial Health Authority’s website, nshealth.ca.
The exposure warnings come after the province reported a total of 1,147 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday and Saturday.
There was no update on the number of hospitalizations over the weekend but 15 people in the province were in hospital with COVID-19 as of Friday.
Four of those people were in intensive care.
