Englishtown Ferry Back In Service

The Englishtown Ferry returned to service this afternoon after being out of service since Monday.

The provincial Transportation Department says repairs were done to fix a mechanical problem with the wheel that helps guide the vessel along the cable.

The latest problem happened after the service shut down for repairs in December.

When those repairs were done, it took until earlier this month to get the ferry up and running because of bad weather.
