Eleven new cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia today

Nova Scotia is reporting 11 new cases of COVID-19 today.

There are seven new cases in the province’s central zone, two in the northern zone and two in the western.

One new case was reported in the Eastern Zone yesterday, in the Antigonish and Guysborough community health network.

Eighteen people have recovered, bringing the number of known, active cases in the province to 49.

Two people have recovered in the Cape Breton Regional Municipality, leaving only two active cases here.

Just over 77 per cent of Nova Scotia’s population has had at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine; almost 70 per cent have had both.
