Eight new cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia

Provincial health authorities say they’ve identified 8 new cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia, the largest single-day jump in cases since May.

All 8 cases are in the Central Zone. Two are connected to previously reported cases, and six are under investigation.

The new cases bring the number of known, active cases in Nova Scotia to 33.

1,168 Nova Scotians have tested positive for the novel coronavirus since the pandemic began, 65 people have died.

1,070 people in the province have recovered from COVID-19.
