Eight Great White Shark Tagged Off Nova Scotia

U-S researchers say they’ve tagged two more great white sharks off the province’s coast.

That brings the total for Ocearch to eight on its 2019 expedition.

The group says it tagged an adolescent male and female off West Ironbound Island near Lunenburg, yesterday.

They’ve named the male Shaw and the female Scotia.

The researchers tagged four great whites when they started their expedition in waters off Cape Breton, last month.

Two males the group named Sydney and Murdock were tagged off Hay Island, near Main-a-Dieu.

Two females named Unima’ki and Caper were tagged in the same area.
