Motaz Zahran is due to arrive at the McCurdy Sydney Airport, shortly after 11:00, this morning.
He’ll then be the guest of honour at a luncheon at the Civic Centre in Sydney.
He’s also due to get a tour of the Port of Sydney.
Those pushing for a Sydney container port hope it will attract ships that will travel through Egypt’s Suez canal on their way to North America.
