by People in Eskasoni are being asked to stay in their homes with the doors locked this morning after a man was injured in a shooting in the community last night.
Eskasoni schools, offices and businesses are closed and there’s a heavy police presence there.
RCMP say they got the call about a shooting at a home in Eskasoni at around 10:25.
They say a man was shot through a window and taken to hospital.
There’s no word on his condition.
