Early Childhood Development Minister Becky Druhan is making a long-awaited announcement today on wages for early childhood educators.
Druhan is holding a news conference at noon in Dartmouth.
Some daycare workers walked out at the start of the school year to protest how long it was taking to bring about the pay bump.
The workers make between 15 and 19 dollars an hour.
More money for workers in the sector is part of the federal government’s deal with the province to bring in $10 a day child care.
