Drug, Weapons Charges Filed After Police Raid In Victoria Mines

A Sydney man will remain behind bars over the weekend ahead of a bail hearing on weapons and drug charges.

37 year-old Michael Anthony Cusack was arrested after Regional Police raided a home in Victoria Mines last night.

Police say they seized over 500 grams of cocaine, over 15,000 dollars in cash and several weapons from the home on Armada Drive.

Cusack is facing charges of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in Cocaine and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, as well as Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm and Ammunition, and Unsafe Storage of Firearms and Ammunition.

His bail hearing is set for Monday.
