Donation From PEI Arrives At Glace Bay Food Bank

A truck carrying donated food items from Prince Edward Island arrived at the Glace Bay Food Bank this afternoon after a delay yesterday.

Yesterday’s planned delivery was postponed because ferry crossings from PEI were cancelled because of weather conditions.

The truck carried about $9,000 worth of food and was offloaded by members of the Glace Bay High School hockey team.

This is the third year donations from PEI have been sent to Cape Breton.
