The defence will continue cross-examining a key Crown witness today as the trial for a Sydney man charged with trying to arrange the murder of his ex-wife continues.
53 year-old Roderick Joseph Domoslai faces two counts of counsel to commit murder, one count of counsel to commit arson and one count each of obstruction and perjury.
In July, 48 year-old Erin Maxwell testified Domoslai hired him to kill Dawn MacNeil and gave him 20-thousand dollars as a down payment.
Maxwell also said he never intended to go through with the plan and blew the money on drugs and clothes.
But yesterday, the defence tried to pull apart Maxwell’s testimony and also suggested he likes to tell stories.
The trial has been plagued by numerous delays as Domoslai has gone through three different lawyers.
