Domoslai Trial To Continue, Today

The trial for a Sydney man accused of trying to arrange his ex-wife’s murder is due to continue today.

53 year-old Roderick Joseph Domoslai faces two counts of counsel to commit murder, one count of counsel to commit arson and one count each of obstruction and perjury.

Yesterday in Sydney court, his ex-wife Dawn MacNeil described an abusive and sometimes violent marriage as the first witness at the trial.

MacNeil says she met Domoslai in Alberta and adds the couple moved back to Cape Breton, where she grew up, in 2003.

MacNeil also testified her husband’s abusive behavior continued after the move, but adds she didn’t tell anyone because she felt ashamed and embarrassed.

MacNeil told the court she became aware of the plot to kill her from a police officer.

So far, there’s been no testimony surrounding the plot Domoslai is accused of being involved in.

Ten days have been set aside for the trial.
