The trial of a Sydney man accused of trying to hire someone to kill his ex-wife is due to resume this morning after it was abruptly adjourned yesterday to allow the judge to rule on a matter raised by the Crown.
53 year-old Roderick Joseph Domoslai faces two counts of counsel to commit murder, one count of counsel to commit arson and one count each of obstruction and perjury.
Judge Gregory Warner said he could not make a decision on an undisclosed matter raised by the Crown until he looked at case law.
He then adjourned court for the day after saying he would meet with the Crown at this hour to deliver his decision.
Open court is then due to resume at 9:30.
Domoslai has denied hiring Crown witness Erin Maxwell to arrange for the killing of Dawn MacNeil.
He also testified he hates his ex-wife but would not have her killed.
