Domoslai Expected To Take Stand In Own Defence

A Sydney man accused of trying to arrange the murder of his ex-wife is due to take the stand in his own defence as his trial resumes, today.

53 year-old Roderick Joseph Domoslai faces two counts of counsel to commit murder, one count of counsel to commit arson and one count each of obstruction and perjury.

On Friday, the defence continued its case by calling two witnesses who described themselves as friends of Domoslai.

Crown witness Erin Maxwell has testified Domoslai gave him a 20-thousand dollar down payment to arrange for the killing of Dawn MacNeil.

But the defence argues Maxwell made the story up.
