Doctors Nova Scotia Installs New President

Doctors Nova Scotia installed its president for 2023–24 during the association’s annual conference on the weekend.

Dr. Colin Audain from Halifax has been a staff general anesthesiologist at the Victoria General and Halifax Infirmary since 2007.

Audain says he hopes to see family medicine stabilized in the province during his term.

Doctors NS says he becomes president as contract negotiations for doctors are at their peak.

It says conversations at the negotiation table continue to be constructive and productive.
