Divers To Search For Missing New Ross Snowmobiler, Today

The search for a 26-year-old New Ross man is due to continue today after his snowmobile broke through the ice in Kings County on Saturday night.

RCMP say they got a call shortly before 10:00 that of a group of snowmobilers ran into trouble while crossing Black River Lake.

They add three snowmobiles and their riders had gone through the ice.

Two were rescued and were taken to hospital, but the third is still missing.

 

The RCMP says an underway recovery team will be on the scene to help in the search for his body, today.
