District 2 Recount on November 10th

The official recount for the Regional Municipality’s District 2 has been set for November 10th.

Earlene MacMullin narrowly won the District by 5 votes on election night, October 15th.

MacMullin picked up 985 votes while Lloyd Wilkie got 980.

They were followed closely by Diane Power with 966.

Regional Solicitor Demetri Kachafanas says a recount is automatic when a candidate wins by 10 or fewer votes.
