Disciplinary Hearing Continues Today For Cape Breton Doctor

A disciplinary hearing for a Cape Breton obstetrician and gynecologist continues today in Halifax.

The hearing for Dr. Manivasan Moodley comes after two women came forward to make complaints against him.

Their names are protected by a publication ban and they’re being referred to as A.B. and C.D.

Yesterday A.B. who’s in her 30’s testified Moodley touched her inappropriately and asked her irrelevant sexual questions during a July 2017 medical appointment.

C.D. is testifying today.

Moodley’s defence is scheduled to start tomorrow.
